Dari tahun ke tahun animo generasi muda dari Provinsi Kalimantan Barat ini untuk menempuh studi di STPMD\u00e2\u20ac\u009dAPMD\u00e2\u20ac\u009d meningkat. Mereka berasal dari berbagai Kabupaten antara lain Kabupaten Sintang, Kabupaten Melawi, Kabupaten Sekadau, Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu, Kabupaten Landak, dll.<\/p>\n<p>Peningkatan animo untuk studi ke STPMD\u00e2\u20ac\u009dAPMD\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ini selain dari hasil promosi yang terus menerus dilakukan oleh seluruh s<em>takeholder<\/em>s kampus, namun juga kebutuhan Kalimantan Barat akan peningkatan kapasitas Sumber Daya Manusia dirasa cukup mendesak. Lebi-lebih dengan adanya UU No.6 Tahun 2014 Tentang Desa kebutuhan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas untuk mengelola desa baik pada tataran atau level desa sampai dengan kabupaten dirasa sangat dibutuhkan.
